Agreement

These terms and conditions (“O’Skin Medical T&Cs”) apply to your use of O’Skin Medical (O’Skin) and our website located at www.oskin.com.au.

By entering O’Skin Medical, purchasing any product, making a booking, or accessing or using our website, you agree to these O’Skin Medical T&Cs. If you do not agree with the O’Skin T&Cs, please do not attend O’Skin or use the website.

We reserve the right to alter these T&Cs at our discretion. Each time you enter O’Skin or access our site, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware of the current O’Skin T&Cs. Continued use of our services and website constitutes acceptance of any changes.

General Booking Rules

  • Bookings must be made in accordance with our booking policies.
  • We reserve the right to modify or remove treatments at any time, including temporary or permanent closures.
  • Opening hours may change at our discretion, including for maintenance, private events, or capacity considerations.
  • Patients must follow all instructions given by O’Skin Medical staff during treatments. Failure to do so is at the patient’s own risk.
  • Communication with patients will be by phone call, text message and email. It is the patient’s responsibility to ensure contact details are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Patients must be respectful towards other guests, staff, and external providers.
  • Patients should inform us of any medical conditions that may impact their treatment.
  • Please arrive five minutes before your appointment.
  • Late arrivals will lose treatment time, and full payment is required if the appointment cannot be completed in the remaining time.
  • Verbal or physical intimidation, harassment, or discrimination will not be tolerated.
  • To maintain a relaxing environment, we kindly request that children not be brought to appointments.

Pricing and Payments

  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Promotions are only valid during the specified period and are subject to availability.
  • O’Skin Medical does not offer refunds, transfers, suspensions, or extensions on services or retail products unless deemed defective and at management’s discretion.
  • Any bank fees incurred from disputed or failed transactions will be passed on to the patient.

Booking and Cancellation Policy

  • Bookings can be made via our website, phone, or in person at the clinic.
  • DNA for appointments will result in being charge a 50% payment for treatment booked, or $100 fee if the treatment type was not confirmed. 
  • Late cancellations (within 24 hours) will be billed a $100 fee.
  • Cancellations must be made via phone or email during office hours. SMS, text, or social media messages are not accepted.
  • Complimentary 30 minute consultations will not attract a cancellation fee, but will not be rebooked if there is a late cancellation or a DNA.

Complimentary 30 Minute Appointments Policy

  • Limited to one appointment per person, with dermal therapist or registered nurse only
  • This offer does not apply to appointments with medical practitioners. These appointments will be privately billed.
  • Latecomers or patients that DNA will forfeit their booking and will not be able to reschedule another complimentary session.
  • Please respect the 30-minute time limit.

Gift Vouchers

  • Gift vouchers can be used for non-medical O’Skin services and retail products.
  • Vouchers are not redeemable for cash or for medical consultations.
  • Valid for 36 months from the date of issue.
  • No refunds, transfers, suspensions, or extensions are permitted.
  • O’Skin Medical is not responsible for lost, stolen, destroyed, or unauthorised use of vouchers.

Refunds

  • O’Skin Medical does not offer refunds or credits on pre-purchased packages, treatments, gift vouchers, or retail products unless a product is faulty.

Breaches of Terms and Conditions

If you breach these terms, O’Skin Medical reserves the right to take appropriate action, including but not limited to denying access to our clinic and website, or taking legal action.

Intellectual Property Rights

  • O’Skin Medical owns all intellectual property rights to our website, logo, and published materials.
  • You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You must not reproduce, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.
  • By providing content to our website, you grant O’Skin a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and publish your content.
  • You agree not to modify, copy, reverse-engineer, or interfere with any part of our website.

Consumer Rights and Complaints

  • Your rights as a patient of O’Skin are protected under the Australian Charter of Healthcare Rights.
  • For complaints or feedback, please contact our clinic directly.
  • If you have a more serious complaint regarding the service you have received at O’Skin Medical please contact the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or the Office of the Health Complaints Commissioner Tasmania on 1800 001 170.
